Two Visits to the San Jacinto Battleground and the Texas Battleship
I went to the San Jacinto Battlegrounds twice: once with Angela, Elizabeth, and Yahaira; and once with Jenny.

This was the first area we went to because my car was parked right in front of this area.
The battleship was the main reason why I wanted to visit the San Jacinto Battleground and I was definitely pleased with both of my visits on this ship. I probably spent around 8 hours just to be on there because I was excited to be on a real battleship that survived World War I and World War II!!!
The thing that fascinated me inside the ship were the beds, the kitchen, the restrooms, and the radio room... with that many crew members on board, the ship must have felt very crowded during war.
After visiting the battleship, we drove around the Battlefield and visited the monument. My regret about going to the monument was that we only went up to the observation deck but not into the museum exhibits (because of the price). But in the fields, we got to see the area where George Washington lost his horse during battle and we got to see the word "breastworks" everywhere... which is apparently just a temporary fort that's built for battle and is around the same height as the breasts... that's the only thing it has to do with breasts.
In the last photo of the gallery above, Yahaira, Angela, Elizabeth and I saw these birds on this dead tree while driving around the San Jacinto Battleground
When Jenny and I drove around the Battleground, we didn't see these birds but we saw a huge flock of bigger, white birds. Jenny and I also saw some moss-like species growing/living on the electrical wires along the street...

Here are some random photos of us playing around before our HIST 1302 course actually started. We were all so happy...
For me, there's not much to say about this part of the history journal. Overall, I had fun on both trips but they were so tiring because of the long drive-time and the hot weather. Thinking about these trips makes me a bit upset because while we were visiting the site, we were looking forward for a great semester... but the fall semester did not turn out the way we hoped for...
So that concludes this section.
